Truckee River Clean Up!

Greenvibe World is doing a community clean up day in Reno & I thought we could help!

"We are calling on our community for help cleaning up one of the most polluted sections of the Truckee River we have seen so far. This area is located in a flood plain that has a high concentration of various pollutants. We are hoping to remove this trash before the water rises and washes it down stream. The area we will be working on is planned to be turned into a more naturalized flood plain that will benefit the overall health of the Truckee River watershed and ecosystem. Eventually, there are hopes to turn this into a nature study area. Let’s create something good!"
