Let’s Hike! Family Meetup at Bent Creek
Details
Sunday, October 26th | 10:00 AM | Bent Creek Educational Forest (Hard Times Trailhead) | 375 Wesley Branch Rd
Join us for a morning of connection, fresh air, and community! 🌞
We’ll meet at Hard Times Trailhead and enjoy a peaceful 1.7-mile loop through Bent Creek Educational Forest, an easy, scenic walk that’s perfect for families looking to slow down and reconnect with nature (and each other).
This gathering is open to all ages, and we’ll be bringing our 1-year-old along too! While strollers may be a challenge on this trail, baby carriers or hiking backpacks are encouraged if needed.
We’ll begin with a few mindful moments and introductions before heading out together, creating space to meet other like-minded families who value mindfulness, movement, and adventure.
What to bring:
- Water
- Snacks for little ones
- Comfortable hiking shoes
- Baby carrier or backpack if needed
Please note:
Parking at the trailhead is limited, but there is additional parking available along the parkway.
Restrooms are available at the trailhead if needed.
Please plan to arrive a few minutes early so everyone is ready to head out on time!
Let’s take a break from the busy and spend a morning grounding in nature with our families. 💚
We can’t wait to connect with you outdoors!
