Finding digital balance: a beachside conversation about tech & wellbeing
Details
Are you feeling constantly connected and somehow disconnected from yourself and your surroundings?
Join me, Vero, Certified Digital Wellness and Resilience Educator, marketing manager and digital nomad, for an intimate, beachside meetup dedicated to exploring our relationship with technology and learning how to use it with more balance and purpose.
After years of working remotely and traveling the world, I experienced firsthand how easy it is to burn out in our hyperconnected lives, that’s why I decided to study to become a Certified Digital Wellness and Resilience Educator and create these meetups: to build a safe space where we can slow down, share our stories, and rediscover balance in an environment in which we fell seen and supported.
This is not a typical “put your phone away” event. Instead, we’ll focus on how to reconnect with our devices in a healthier, more intentional way, so they support your wellbeing instead of draining it.
Because disconnection alone doesn’t solve digital overwhelm, what truly matters is learning how to reconnect consciously.
What to expect:
- An intimate small-group discussion (max 10 people) in a relaxed, open-air setting right before sunset in one of the most beautiful view points of the Eastern Suburbs.
- Real conversations about our digital habits, pressures, and experiences.
- Guided journaling exercises to reflect on how tech helps (and hinders) our lives.
- Learn simple and practical tools to build digital balance every day.
When & Where:
📍 Clovelly Beach, Sydney (We will meet at the bus stop Burrows Park, Ocean St and we'll find a spot to sit at the park overlooking the beach)
🕓 Friday 9.01 at 18:30 (Duration: 1.5–2 hours)
What to bring:
I will provide reflection sheets and I will bring pens, but feel free to bring your personal notebook if you prefer to use it. Also, don’t forget to bring a beach towel since we will sit down on the grass, feel free to bring any drink or water if you want.
