Light & Sound Immersion in the Cistern is a restorative evening sound healing meditation set within the Buffalo Bayou Park Cistern’s reverberant chambers.

Saumil Manek of Union is Creation produces resonant tones and harmonics while shifting light patterns by Kelly O’Brien of Fenris create a serene, dreamlike atmosphere. This unique experience invites deep relaxation, inner stillness, and a heightened connection to the senses.

Guests should bring their own cushions or mats. For sensitive hearing, guests may enjoy the experience with earplugs. No food or drinks are allowed inside the Cistern.
