### If you think you don't have time, this practice is for you.

You're holding it all together. You're the one who keeps showing up, even when you're running on fumes. And you've gotten really good at pushing through, solving, fixing, doing, managing, and performing.
But underneath it all, there's a quiet ache. A longing to slow down without guilt. To feel again, be with your own experience, not manage everyone else's and remember that you are more than your to-do list. And that your inner world matters too.

### What is it?

Squiggle Magic is a simple, soothing 30-minute practice that helps you gently process emotion, reconnect with yourself, and experience true nervous system rest using nothing but a marker, paper, and your breath.
You'll write down one emotion you're feeling, without judgment. Then, using your non-dominant hand, you'll draw a raw, flowing line that expresses that emotion—no planning or art skill required.
Next, you'll slowly soften sharp edges, round corners, and fill in the shapes that emerge with lines, patterns, or colour, letting your body lead.
It's calming, creative and it works.

### Why it matters

Most people aren't taught to be with their emotions. We're taught to power through them, suppress them, intellectualize them. Yet, the ability to feel is essential because how we relate to our emotions shapes everything: our health, our relationships, our creativity, our choices, and our sense of self.
Unprocessed emotions don't disappear; they live in your body and become tension, fatigue, disconnection, anxiety, perfectionism, and disease.
This regular practice helps you:

  • Gently move emotions through the body without needing to talk about them
  • Rewire your nervous system to feel safe in slowness and self-expression
  • Rebuild self-trust, especially if you've been living in "fix it" mode
  • Access insight, clarity, and calm without forcing it

In just 30 minutes, you go from tight and reactive to open and anchored.

### What You'll Experience

  • Relief from the pressure to "figure it out" or hold it all in
  • Release as you draw through what you've been holding inside
  • Reconnection to a quieter voice within you: wise, creative, honest
  • Regulation, as the practice settles the body, not just the mind
  • Resonance through the image that emerges, holding meaning you didn't expect

And the best part? You can do this every day, in just 5–10 minutes, as a daily reset or check-in with yourself.

### If You've Ever Said:

  • "I don't have time for art."
  • "I'm not creative."
  • "I'm too overwhelmed to feel right now."
  • "I want to slow down but don't know how."
  • "I wish I could just let go."

…then this was made for you.
You don't need more willpower. You need something gentle that works. This is it!

### What You Need:

  • A piece of paper
  • A marker
  • A quiet space
  • Willingness to stay with yourself for 15-30 minutes
  • (And if you only have 5 minutes? That's enough. The practice meets you where you are.)

You don't need to create something beautiful; you need to be willing to let something move.
That's where the healing lives and where you find yourself again.
