How to Develop a Heart-Centered Mindfulness Meditation Practice: FREE
Details
I have been teaching meditation and mindfulness for over 20 years, training meditation teachers, therapists, and beginners just starting out. This group meets on the third Saturday of each month. Attending the group is free. This group is for anyone who is interested in developing a sitting mindfulness practice or supporting their current practice in community. You do not need to attend every month to gain the benefits from this meditation group.
During this meeting, I will cover heart-centered mindfulness meditation. It can be difficult to truly center your attention within your heart when your mind is buzzing or your nervous system is activated. Having a practice that helps quiet your thinking and soothes your nervous system can be instrumental is developing your heart-centered meditation. I will also highlight self-compassion techniques that add to your meditation and help ease you through feelings of grief, heartache, loneliness and disappointment.
Future meetings will include instruction on various TSD Mindfulness topics such as:
- Mindfulness of sound, physical sensations, & breath
- Emotional healing with mindfulness
- Disengaging from thoughts with mindfulness
- Tips for concentration
- Soothing your nervous system
- Self-compassion for self-induced pressure
- Awareness of your divine life force energy
Each meeting will also include a guided meditation. And we will enter breakout rooms to discuss topics more fully and develop connections with others in the group.
Please message me if you have any questions! If there are few RSVPs, don't worry, there will be others attending from other channels. If you would like to learn more about TSD Mindfulness, check out our podcast The Aware Mind and our website [TSDMind.org](https://www.tsdmind.org/)
