Join us on a six week course to learn how meditation techniques and mindfulness can help you enjoy your life more fully. Deepen and expand your practice together with a community of other like-minded, English-speaking people in Barcelona.
Taught over six weekly two-hour sessions, starting 18th February and ending 1st April, the introductory “SIT” course includes a mix of guided meditation practices, interactive exercises, home practice, short talks, discussions and Q&A.
Over six weekly classes, we will -
- explore how to reconnect with our body and senses
- learn various meditation techniques and posture
- reconnect and understand our emotions
- learn about our stress responses, and how to shift from reaction to response
- quiet our inner critics, freeing up more positivity
- experience how kindness can help us release from tightness and pain
- learn practices to do at home and during your day
- discover what meditation and mindfulness are really all about
Classes will be on Tuesdays at 19.00 near Llacuna metro in Poblenou.
On Thursdays there is also an opportunity to practice with a regular community, which can be a huge support if you’re interested to continue down the mindfulness path.
My goal is to expand a community of English-language meditators in Barcelona and so I am offering this course at the affordable price of €90 for six two-hour classes. You can reserve your place with a €30 deposit.
After practicing Buddhist meditation for 15 years, I trained as a teacher in the UK with Mark Coleman and Martin Aylward, who designed the SIT ("Six-week Introductory Training") course curriculum.
