This is the 1st session of an "intro to mindfulness" series, likely the final opening session at the Wissahickon offered in 2025. Specifically for beginners, this outing will give you a sense of what mindfulness meditation is, how to do it, and why it's worth the time.

After a group introduction and discussion, we will explore the practice while strolling through the Wissahickon. Our trek will be ~ 2 miles, at an uncommonly gentle pace.

Expect a relaxed and friendly vibe, like a good meditation sitting. The starting location is the picnic table area just off the parking lot at Blue Bell Park. Feel free to arrive 15 minutes early if you want to hang out and chat a bit before we begin!
