Specifically for beginners, this outing will give you a sense of what mindfulness meditation is, how to practice, and why it's worth the time. Expect a relaxed vibe without the formality found in many meditation settings.

After meeting each other and experientially delving into the topic, we will explore the practice while strolling through the Wissahickon. Our trek will be around 2 miles, at an uncommonly gentle pace.

The starting location is the picnic table area just off the parking lot at Blue Bell Park. Feel free to arrive up to 15 minutes early if you want to hang out and chat before we begin!
