✨✨Announcing the new LGBTQIA+ Meditation Group, ✨ Welcome to our second meet of Queerly Beloveds!✨ A practice of meditation and mindfulness welcoming community members who self identify under the LGBTQIA+ umbrella and for those who are questioning. Join us as we take time to be in beloved-community and learn alongside each other. We do not require that anyone be “out” to participate. **Kindly note: Though we do appreciate the support of allies, in honoring our space, we invite allies to please instead join us for one of the many non-affinity gatherings that Mindful Astoria offers each week, including Tuesdays, 7pm at Socrates Park! We thank you very much.

💭About the space and accessibility:
There will be chairs as well some yoga mats provided. In dry weather we will be meeting on flat grass near the trees, and in wet weather we will be meeting under the covered structure with cement ground, this covered space is "open air" and is uncovered on three sides. Please bring blankets, cushions or any other accessibility tools that you may need. Please contact us with any accessibility requests at AstoriaBeloveds@gmail.com.
Covid precaution: during outdoor events (like this one) we will not require masking for guests, however guests are always welcome to do so, and some masks will be available if needed. In the colder weather (for future indoor events), masks will be required for all participants.
We ask that participants be mindful when feeling cold symptoms and stay home in protection of others.
Audio: Teachers will be using a sound system for greater amplification.

Payment: This event is open to all✨. There is no payment required to attend. Donations are welcomed in support of our programing.
