How to install a meditation practice - in person workshop

Details

If you are anything like me, there are plenty of habits that you’d like to change, some you’d like to give up, and others, like meditation, that you would really enjoy developing. But it’s hard to fit it into our lives. And sometimes it’s hard to just do it!

With that in mind, I have designed this 90 workshop where I will invite you to practice, reflect and strategise on how to bring meditation and mindfulness into your life.

Because it’s very difficult to make ourselves do things when we don’t understand their benefits, to install a new habit it’s best to start with context (in our case teachings + science) and then actually ‘doing the thing.’

The goal for our time together? To demystify what meditation is all about and give you a taste of how it can both support and enhance our lives. When we are fully present with our minds, we gain stability and clarity — doesn’t that sound good?

What my students say

  • "I liked the way Anne drives the classes, it's clear, lots of reference, making everyone feeling part of it and always in the softest and kindest way. She makes failing and trying all right, no pressure is put on us. Her class feels like a safe place to learn and experiment."
  • "Anne's teachings are clear and easy to apply/follow. I feel it speaks as much to the beginners than to the most experimented meditators."

About Anne - your teacher
Anne Muhlethaler is a 200 RYT yoga teacher and a certified mindfulness and meditation teacher who has studied with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield (MMTCP), as well as taken many workshops with world-renowned teachers such as Sally Kempton, Pema Chödrön, and yoga teacher Annie Carpenter. A former fashion and business executive (and prior to that a singer), Anne developed an interest in meditation and mindfulness after years of practicing yoga.

She became a regular Loving Kindness practitioner before starting to learn more about the rest of mindfulness practices. Anne decided to become a teacher after seeing the profound effects these combined practices had on her own life.

She teaches on Zoom and through guided meditations on her website, YouTube, Instagram and via her podcast, Out of the Clouds.

Anne is passionate about teaching meditation and pranayama while also running a communications consultancy and coaching practice. You can discover her podcast, Out of the Clouds, here.
