FOCUS for this Mindful Walk - the WATER chakra -

http://photos3.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/7/a/2/a/600_447271274.jpeg

This is the 2nd chakra. Chakras are pools of spiralling energy. This chakra deals with pleasure and is blocked by guilt. Look at all the guilt that burdens you. What do you blame yourself for?

http://photos3.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/7/9/4/5/600_447271045.jpeg

Today's walk has as its intention the release of whatever is weighing you down. the key here is self forgiveness.

http://photos2.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/7/9/e/7/600_447271207.jpeg

Orange is the colour of joy, enthusiasm, friendliness, creativity, emotional balance, sexuality, self worth, harmony, passion, freedom, intuition, and the expression of emotions. It promotes a general sense of wellness.

When the 2nd Chakra, the Sacral/belly chakra, rooted into the spine and located 5cm below the navel is blocked, we experience: Guilt, stiff lower backs, restlessness, exhaustion, a feeling of overwhelm, confusion and lack of desire/pleasure/excitement at interspersed intervals in our lives. It’s influenced by how emotions were expressed or repressed in the family during childhood.

Creativity, emotional balance, sexuality, harmony, passion, freedom, intuition, and expression of emotions.
