Details
Let's discuss about balance! Balance has often been in the background of many of our previous conversations, be it about hope, happiness, intuition vs reason etc. This time let's focus on it.
Here are a few prompts to get started with the conversation:
- What is the nature of balance in life?
- Is balance the key to a good life?
- Is balance a goal worth pursuing in all aspects of life, or are there situations where imbalance is preferable or necessary?
- Can one achieve balance while pursuing personal goals and ambitions, or do these inherently disrupt equilibrium?
🌮 More food for thought
- "There is a middle way between the extremes of indulgence and self-denial, free from sorrow and suffering. This is the way to peace and liberation in this very life." - Buddha
- "The highest good is like water. Water gives life to the ten thousand things and does not strive. It flows in places people reject and so is like the Tao." - Lao Tsu
- "In all things, in nature, seeking the middle course is the best."
Aristotle - "The middle way is no way at all." - Nietzsche

🚫 No-show policy
As the group size is small, no-shows have a strong negative impact on the group. As such, the policy is that as a general rule, no-shows and same-day cancellations will not be able to sign up for future events. To avoid this:
- Only reserve a spot if you really intend to come.
- If your plans have changed, cancel at least 24 hours before the event, to give people on the waiting list a chance to change their own plans and make it to the event.
- If you have a real last-minute emergency and need to cancel in the last 24 hours, please contact me directly to avoid "no-show" status.
