In this event we are going to talk about dreams in the literally sense. It would be nice if you would be prepared to share your dreams, although it is not required.
Do you dream, meaning do you remember your dreams, as we know that we all are dreaming in sleep? Do dreams have any meaning for you and do they somehow influence your daily life, perhaps even your decisions? How relevant still is Freud for our dreams today?
Since we usually are a mix of people from different cultural background, could you provide us some insight how dreams and dreaming are seen in your culture?
These are just a few topics we could dig into. Feel free to bring your own ideas and questions.
This event will have a different format than we had before. During the first 60 to 90 minutes of the two hours we are going to talk about it like we always do.
The second part will be a brief introduction into how to learn to dream lucidly, which is to be aware in your dream, that you are dreaming. The goal of that second part is to start a lucid dreaming experiment, where the participants try to attain lucid dreaming. We then will talk about our experiences (or non-experiences) in a follow up event in eight to twelve weeks. If you don't want to join that experiment, you still will be welcome to the first, discussion part.
If you've never participated before, here's what to expect:

  • 2 hours of deep, interesting conversations in a respectful environment that will elevate your spirit and give you new ideas for life, work or relationships
  • a supportive group of people sharing their own unique experiences and viewpoints, and encouraging you to do the same
  • a rich mix of newcomers and regulars from different countries and cultures for a broad diversity of opinions and experiences
