Join us for a reflective and interactive discussion on the concept of utopia — both as a personal aspiration and as a collective ideal.
Utopias have appeared throughout history in philosophy, literature, politics, and urban planning, often reflecting society’s hopes, fears, and limitations.
This session will explore how individuals imagine ideal worlds, where those visions originate, and what it might take to realize or strive toward them.
Participants will share and compare ideas about ideal societies, informed by culture, experience, and personal reflection.
Example of questions we will discuss:
- What does your personal utopia look and feel like?
- Where do you think your idea of utopia comes from — childhood, books, religion, politics, experiences?
- Which utopian (or dystopian) story, philosophy, or vision has most shaped your imagination — and why?
- Do you find yourself more drawn to utopian or dystopian thinking — and what might that say about your worldview?
- Have your ideas of a “perfect world” changed over time? What triggered those shifts?
- Do you believe your utopia could ever become reality — fully or in parts? What would it take?
- How do you reconcile your personal vision of utopia with the needs, desires, or fears of others?
- Do you feel that any movement or ideology today aligns with your utopian ideals — or clashes with them?
Please note, that in order to support the room provider we will ask for some vountary donations.
