Connections to Animals in Nature – A Walk in the Park

Hosted By

Details
Join us for a relaxing walk in Westpark, as we explore our connections to the animals that share our urban green spaces. Whether you’re a pet owner, a birdwatcher, or someone who just appreciates wildlife, this is an opportunity to reflect on how we interact with—and learn from—the creatures around us.
We’ll decide as we stroll which paths to take. Along the way, we’ll discuss the ways animals enrich our lives and remind us of our place in the natural world. Feel free to bring your dog.
We may discuss topics like these:
- Do you have a favorite animal encounter in nature? What made it memorable?
- What lessons or insights have you gained from observing animals in their natural habitat?
- How do you think urbanization affects the animals that live in or visit our parks?
- Do you feel a sense of connection or companionship with animals in nature? How does this affect your well-being?
- Are there cultural or historical stories about animals in nature that resonate with you?
