In a world that constantly demands more — more speed, more productivity, more connection — mindfulness and meditation promise the opposite: stillness, awareness, and presence.
But what do these practices really bring into our lives — beyond the buzzwords?
This discussion evening invites you to explore different sides of mindfulness and meditation: moments of clarity, healing, and focus — but also confusion, pressure, or doubt.
Together we’ll create a space for honest exchange and shared reflection. There are no teachers or students — only experiences, perspectives, and curiosity. Everyone is welcome to join, with or without prior meditation experience.

We’ll explore questions such as:

  • Is meditation always beneficial — or can it sometimes become a subtle form of escape?
  • Do we feed our intellect with theories about mindfulness, but struggle to apply them in real life?
  • When does mindfulness turn into performance? Is there pressure to “achieve” inner peace — as if calmness itself had become another goal?
  • Can too much self-observation lead to overthinking, social withdrawal, or even spiritual superiority?
  • Has mindfulness been commercialized — and how could it influence the way we practice it?
  • Do we sometimes internalize external problems — making ourselves responsible for everything that goes wrong?
  • In striving to live more consciously, do we risk becoming detached? Where’s the balance between healthy independence and genuine connection?

Let’s come together — to listen, question, and share what mindfulness truly means in real life.

Please note that I´ll ask for donations to cover the meetup expenses.
