Do you want to cry on Valentines Day? I wasn't planning on it, but looks like my plans changed... I just received FIFTY free passes to see a pre-screening of TITANIC in 3D, and am now going to be tearing up for the last 40 minutes of this movie! Okay... I know, I know... this movie is going to make you cry, and maybe that wasn't your goal for Tuesday night, but it's one of the most romantic movies I've ever seen (and one of the best movies). PLUS...to see LEO in 3D??? I can't pass it up!
This is TOTALLY FREE for you and a guest or two.
BUT... there is the catch. The movie theater that is promoting this prescreening (actually opens in APRIL) overbooks the theater on purpose due to noshows. I have physically in my hand FORTY tickets, BUT... if you aren't one of the first 200 people in line, your ticket is worthless, as they gave out 250 of these freebies.
SO, we've gotta be there early. 5:45 at the latest. I will be there at 5:15- but I can't "save" your spot, even though I have the tickets. You are NOT guaranteed a spot, as it's first come first serve. I'm not guaranteed a spot, even as the promoter. This is a HOT ticket, people have been begging to see this pre-release, but somehow I was able to get 50 of the tickets...
In otherwords, if you can't make it to the loop by 5:45, find parking and find me, don't RSVP, as you probably won't be able to use the free ticket.
Movie is at 7pm, but there are giveaways and music, fun stuff from 6-7 to occupy our time (and I think a bar attached to this theater, right?)
RSVP if you are sure you can make it... and please don't yell at me if they can't get you a seat because you were guest #201....
