Korean-English Language and Culture Exchange (intermediate level) Read & Talk
Details
Sammie (Korean), who majored in English literature, and Joanna (American), who minored in Korean language, have been enjoying language exchanges for a few months. We thought it would be fun to invite more people to join us and mingle together!
Plan for the Session:
- Reading and Discussion:
We’ll read about one page each in Korean and English, followed by a discussion about the topic. - Language Practice:
- 30 minutes: Speak only in Korean
- 30 minutes: Speak only in English
- Free talking
What to Bring:
If there’s a specific piece you’d like to read together, feel free to bring your own material (paper or book). Otherwise, we can share the resources we’ve been using.
- Joanna is reading a Korean history book or any interesting Korean podcast transcription
- Sammie is reading various TED transcript
