July 4 Water Carnival!

The Army Corps of Engineers have given us a permit for a July 4 Boat Parade and Water Carnival for 30 boats! This event has been years in the making! There is a $1 charge for a print your own ID card but the 16 treasure hunts are free! 1776 people will go live on zoom for 12 seconds each. We may have celebrities on zoom! There is a short video tutorial on the registration page. After you register, visit the 1776 link and get your zoom time. You can also help us out on the lake by being on one of the 30 boats, a safety boat or helping at locations on shore or from home as one of the 30 zoom operators. Your team leader will tell you of car pooling details at the Cumming City Center on July 1 if you have qualified to be on one of the boats. There are a variety of volunteer positions you can sign up for.
