Over approximately 2 miles, you’ll immerse yourself in Otley’s rich history and uncover stories that will make your imagination run wild.

YOUR GUIDE: You will join a small group and will be given a self-guided map. Your group will then embark on an exhilarating treasure trail around the town. As you explore, you’ll be solving riddles, piecing together clues, and unlocking Otley’s hidden past. It’s a hands-on adventure perfect for anyone who loves a good mystery! Meet new friends or join existing friends - the choice is yours!

MEET: 10:30 am – at North Parade Car Park, LS21 1BA (look for your hosts — some cheerful detectives armed with maps!).

END: Once you’ve cracked the trail, why not join us for a picnic down by the river?

WHY OTLEY?
This beautiful riverside town is more than meets the eye. With its origins tracing back to Saxon times, Otley is known for its cobbled streets, historic market square, and vibrant culture. But beneath its picture-perfect exterior lies a darker tale of unsolved mysteries, notorious crimes, and sinister secrets.

As daring adults, let's embrace our adventurous spirits! Your safety and that of your fellow explorers are in your capable hands. So join the walk and prepare yourself because Otley is calling.

We believe in providing a more intimate and personalised experience, so we prefer to send groups off in smaller numbers so nobody (new or old members) feels left out. Alternatively, you can form your own group with your friends to embark on this thrilling journey together!

THE WALK: This walk is mostly on paved paths and is an easy walk over 2 miles. Your group will be going at a slow pace as they look for clues, listen to stories and follow directions.

This event is FREE. However, we will be collecting donations for MIND, the charity our Adventure Group supports.
