#TestActually February meet up with Simon Tomes on exploratory testing
Details
We are back with our usual format! Come join us for an interesting talk, food and drink and a great evening.
WHAT?
"Rediscover the value of exploratory testing and how to inspire your team whilst doing so"
Yet again another development team had convinced me that testing was easy and overrated. “We should just automate everything”.
Deep down I knew this was horribly wrong and I struggled to get my point across. Exploratory testing is incredible. An awesome way to discover what a product actually is and what it might be. I failed time and time again to share its value.
So I jumped head first, developing a tool to support my frustration. The learning-fest had only just begun!
By the end of this talk you’ll discover multiple ways to share the value of exploratory testing. We’ll explore how to share its value and learn a few nifty techniques to make it easier to share discoveries. Word on the street suggests they’ll be a first-time-for-everything surprise exercise guest appearance!
