An alternative Testing Playbook: AI, Generalist Skills, and Smart Cheat
In my talk at Cambridge Ministry of Testing, I'll be discussing my ongoing attempts to blend both art and science in testing. It's all about looking beyond strict methodologies and finding unexpected insights from different disciplines.
Think of it as artistry meets analytics: diving deep into functionality, intuitively questioning, and constantly seeking new tools and perspectives.
I'll share real-world stories showing how this creative, interdisciplinary approach can crack tough problems by staying curious, adaptable, and open to different methods, especially as tech like AI potentially changes the way we work. We'll see how we can collaborate with these tools to help us gain knowledge and accelerate our productivity, leaving more time for coffee, snacks and experimenting!
We'll look to explore how generalist engineering principles applied to testing can lead to innovative, effective solutions, inspiring us to keep pushing the boundaries for better products and user experiences. And hopefully leave people inspired, not fearful about the future.
