Raising Quality bugs prepares you for becoming a Quality Leader
Think about being a leader with some feedback to deliver, you need to consider much the same things as a bug report: the title, the actor, a reason, the situation and steps to reproduce. For each aspect of a bug, there are tips you can apply to make sure development teams are receptive to them; the same applies to feedback. Quality leaders must summarize feedback in a way to ensure the recipient understands the take-away, ensure it's delivered to the right person or people, maybe book in a meeting or engineer a way for the conversation to come up and outline the change of behavior you'd like to see. This talk is suitable for all, as I share my best practices for giving feedback in a way that mirrors bug reports and ensures every member of the team is able to apply this.
Future of Quality panel discussion
Bring your thoughts and questions for current quality leaders from across West Yorkshire as we look at the future of quality in software development. What will be AI's role in quality? What areas should we be learning to support the quality of our software? What does the ideal quality culture look like?
If we have time, we will also try to fit in the Ministry of Testing's world-famous 99-second talks. 99 seconds, no slides, just you and whatever you want to say.
