North West Tester Gathering - Liverpool

Details
The March NWTG is going to be focussed around how testing is tackled in an agile development environment:
What is Agile testing anyway?
You may have heard about the death of testing over the past couple of months soming from some organisations. Their focus has shifted from delivery quality software to delivering software more frequently.
This is not to say they're not delivering quality software, more that if they deliver software more quickly, they can get faster feedback from the customer & make the necessary changes to the software to keep the customers happy.
The shift is moving from building the thing right (validation), to building the right thing (verification).
In this environment, how can we as testers best use our talents?
There will be the chance to chat to Testers currently plying their wares in an agile environment in several different industries. What would you like to know?
We'll also be playing the Scrum Lego game (http://www.lego4scrum.com/) developed by Alex Krivitsky! The scrum lego game uses the power of lego bricks to demonstrate Scrum development principles & how we as Testers can provide most value in a team which doesn't have a testing phase.
