About us
🚨 IMPORTANT INFORMATION 🚨
We have some exciting news! As part of our move into the MoTaverse, the Ministry of Testing Munich group is officially migrating away from Meetup.
Going forward, we are now known as a Chapter, and we have a brand-new home where all our future events, photos, and talks will live.
### Why the move?
By joining us on the new Chapter page, your participation now counts toward your professional growth. In the MoTaverse, you’ll earn stars and badges for attending events, which display directly on your MoT profile to showcase your contributions to the community.
It’s all part of our goal to provide "Community-as-a-Service"—bringing learning, events, and networking into one seamless experience.
### What you need to do:
To stay in the loop for our upcoming London events, please head over to our new page and join the Chapter:

We’ll be phasing out this Meetup group shortly, so make sure you make the jump today so you don't miss our next gathering!
For a deeper look at why we’re making these changes, you can check out Rosie Sherry's post: Meetups are now Chapters.
See you in the MoTaverse!

Session 1: BDD: Practical Insights and Pitfalls
by Christian Schweizer (Senior Software Developer at IDV GmbH)
LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/christian-schweizer-13abb51b2/?originalSubdomain=de
Fast development requires fast testing, but how to keep the pace if testing is always last? The behavior driven development offers a solution beyond unit tests. It promises specification, testing, and documentation at once. However, we know all that glisters is not gold.
We will dive into BBD and discuss some pitfalls based on project experience.Christian is a software developer with more than 15 years of practical experience. The focus is software development, but projects often require more. Specifying, testing, integration, and deployment is therefore a common topic, especially in small teams.
Session 2: Open Space
Open Space is a chance to connect, learn, and grow—no matter your experience level.
Join to share ideas, swap stories, or simply listen in. You don’t need to present or lead a session — but it’s worth it!
We’ll build the agenda together in a “marketplace of ideas,” with 30-minute sessions running in parallel. These could be anything that flows in the atmosphere of the testing planet!
No expertise required - just curiosity, an open mind, and something to explore.40 attendees
