#NottsTest - Cypress.io with Giridhar Rajkumar

As good programmers, we all want to deliver a quality application to our customers. The quality depends on the ways we test the application and deliver it with confidence. One of the best ways to do the testing is from end-to-end (E2E) perspective. Perhaps, this kind of testing is very time-consuming, costly, flaky and slow which leads the testers and developers to perform very less E2E testing that in a DevOps environment.

Cypress.io is a next-generation front end testing tool built for modern web applications. During this talk, we will discuss and deep-dive into using Cypress.io tool and see how it can help us in solving the E2E challenges, perform effective testing we face in our day-to-day activities and how the tool fits seamlessly in DevOps. We will also see a demonstration on the tool, test framework and effective ways to run the tests from pipeline.

Giridhar Rajkumar has over 10 years of experience in the IT industry. He’s worked with multiple customers in the UK, EU, India and Latin America for successful transformations in Test Automation & DevOps. He is an author, speaker and successful instructor in Test Automation and DevOps concepts.
