#NottsTest - Taiko with Amit Sarkar

We love a good automation tool at NottsTest and we have a talk about a less-known one for you this month: Taiko

There is a lot of talk in the software industry today about browser automation tools like Cypress, Puppeteer, WebDriver, TestCafe, and TestProject. Yet nobody seems to be talking about Taiko, an automation tool from Thoughtworks, the company that created Selenium and WebDriver. In this talk Amit will take you through some of the key features of Taiko and why he feels you should consider this simple yet powerful tool. Zabil from Thoughtworks will also be on hand during the talk to assist with the Q&A element at the end of the talk.

Speaker bio:
Amit has 13+ years of experience in the field of QA, with experience working in different industries using a variety of tools and frameworks. He is a keen adopter of open source technologies and always keen to improve the quality of the product and the business processes. He has been involved in a number of different projects and programs, delivering various applications for desktop, web, and mobile, as well as migrations, upgrades and digital transformation projects.
