#NottsTest - Simon Tomes: Exploratory Testing Workshop

Details

Want to start exploratory testing yet unsure where to start? Or are you looking for more exploratory testing techniques?

During this workshop Simon Tomes will introduce you to a step-by-step approach to help you immediately get stuck into exploratory testing. We’ll use risks and questions to explore together and you’ll discover how exploratory testing helps you and your team have better collaborative conversations.

We’ll use the tool TestBuddy to document our exploratory testing discoveries and discover how to easily structure your testing notes to produce brilliant test reports.

Before the workshop:

  1. Within 14-days of the workshop, visit https://testbuddy.co and sign up. You get a free 14-day trial.

  2. Make sure you have access to a web browser such as Chrome, Firefox or Safari and preferably on a laptop or desktop. You’ll use one tab for TestBuddy and another tab for an app to test.

During parts of the workshop you’ll be invited to share your screen with the rest of the participants. You don’t have to do this yet I encourage you to be open to sharing as it’ll enhance the learning experience for everyone.

The workshop runs for approximately 60 minutes.

Happy exploring and see you soon!
