BitDevs Minneapolis meetup is a community-led gatherings for those passionate about Bitcoin, designed to foster thoughtful discussion and technical exploration. Central to these meetups is the Socratic Seminar format—a guided conversation that encourages critical thinking, open dialogue, and the exchange of ideas around recent Bitcoin developments, research papers, and protocol updates. There are no formal presentations; instead, participants are encouraged to come prepared, ask questions, and engage in collaborative learning.
All Bitcoiners are welcome, whether you're a developer, miner, node runner, educator, or simply curious about how Bitcoin works under the hood. BitDevs creates a space where newcomers can learn and seasoned Bitcoiners can go deep on technical details. The environment is Bitcoin-only—focused entirely on advancing understanding and awareness of Bitcoin as a protocol, network, and monetary system. It’s a great way to sharpen your knowledge, meet like-minded people, and stay at the forefront of Bitcoin innovation.
The meetup begins at 5:00 with a 30 minute social time and the seminar begins at 5:30. We usually resume the social time at Indeed Brewing afterwards.

Join us on Wednesday at 6 PM for the Milwaukee Bitcoin Meetup Ice Cream Social, where we'll explore various Bitcoin-related topics in Scott's backyard over ice cream and drinks.

Bring a drink to share and your favorite ice cream and/or topping and join the enthralling convo.

We'll relax and engage in an open discussion on patio chairs in the backyard, examining various technologies and philosophies, the pros and cons and different perspectives and opinions from community members.
