Talk Abstracts:
Elasticsearch & GitLab's AI-Powered DevSecOps Platform - Matt Genelin, Channel Solutions Architect at GitLab

Searching across Git project repositories can be difficult. GitLab self-managed can be configured to make use of Elasticsearch for fast, performant searching. In this 30 minute talk, Matt Genelin will demo how to enable and use Elasticsearch with a self-installed instance of GitLab.

Introduction to OpenTelemetry with Flask - Jessica Garson, Sr. Developer Advocate at Elastic

OpenTelemetry (OTel) is a comprehensive suite of APIs, libraries, and tools designed to collect, generate, and export telemetry data, including metrics, logs, and traces, from software applications. This talk will cover critical concepts related to OTel and show you how to integrate it into your Flask app.
