What we’re about
Capitalism is the problem, and we are the solution.
This group serves three purposes:
- Meet like-minded individuals who want to transition the world out of capitalism into a system not dependent on growth, exploitation, and oppression.
- Learn about the theory and history of struggles against capitalism from various thinkers and movements from the past. We don't need to reinvent the wheel. Many of the problems of capitalism we see today have been commented on long ago.
- Organize around based on good praxis and our current conditions that will grow our independence and power as a group.
What this group is not:
- This group does not hyper focus on electoral politics.
- This group does not engage in fascism, monarchism, or cult of personality. There is no 'this person has all the answers'. While people are free to practice their traditions, our organizers are not divinely chosen. Positions will be cycled through so people can all take turns in leadership as well as learn other organizing skills. This is how you grow a movement is by learning every part sufficiently to teach them to others.
- This group is not interested in spreading anti-communist propaganda designed to defeat any attempts to organize and liberate the oppressed masses from a system of exploitation.
- This group is not interested in prescribing a single answer or worldview to each of its members or affiliates. While there are viewpoints that will not be accepted, we recognize everyone is coming from a different point in their journey of understanding history, theory, and practice. This is a United Front group for people whose chief goal is a world without exploitation and oppression through the transition to a classless society. These people include Marxists, Anarchists, Adherents to Liberation Theology, Socialists, Mutualists, Left Libertarians, and some kinds of Ecologists. Our goal is to work together and overcome our differences through an honest look at theory and history because only when we are united do we have the power to overthrow our oppressors.
