Greenaway Festival: A Zed and Two Noughts (1985) Film discussion & drinking
Details
Greenaway Festival! Next up is Greenaway's next film, A Zed and Two Noughts (1985). More Greenaway more sex, more mystery, more intellectual, more visual.
If you are unfamiliar with Greenaway, I will try to write more about this movie and Greenaway as the time approaches. He is both cinema's most artistic, and also most intellectual filmmaker. Every frame is a mystery to be solved and a work of art to be admired.
This movie IS available on streaming services, and you can also find a link to it here:

NOTE: There is also a link on that page to several of Greenaway's very early short movies. If you're interested, they are intriguing and strange.
After Zed and Two Naughts, we'll watch Drowning by Numbers. Then we'll skip ahead to Nightwatching and Rembrandt J'Accuse (which need to be watched together). If we want to watch more, there are plenty to choose from—Pillow Book, Prospero's Books, Belly of the Architect, Walking to Paris, etc.
We will meet on Friday, August 11, at 8PM, at CC Club, same as always. See you there!
