Greenaway Festival! Next up is Greenaway's next film, Drowning by Numbers (1988).
If you are unfamiliar with Greenaway, I will try to write more about this movie and Greenaway as the time approaches. He is both cinema's most artistic, and also most intellectual filmmaker. Every frame is a mystery to be solved and a work of art to be admired.

NOTE: There is also a link on that page to several of Greenaway's very early short movies. If you're interested, they are intriguing and strange.
After Drowning by Numbers, we'll skip ahead to Nightwatching and Rembrandt J'Accuse (which need to be watched together). If we want to watch more, there are plenty to choose from—Pillow Book, Prospero's Books, Belly of the Architect, Walking to Paris, etc.
