About us

Are you interested in interior design? Do you geek out over wallpaper and lighting? Do you consider your home your canvas? Well, me too! I started this group as a way to connect with other people who are interested in interior design. You can be a professional interior designer, but I just wanted to make sure folx knew that you don’t have to be one to join. I am not. The idea is to meet up at local breweries (with non-alcohol options too) to discuss interior design projects, share books, and ideas, of course. It will be pretty informal, but I will plan to bring a few interiors books to share.

(Full disclosure, I do have a Minnesota-based interior design content platform, which features cool, Minnesota homes: BehindtheShadeMN.com. I created it partly so I could snoop inside my cool neighbors’ homes.)

Interior Design Discussion at Black Stack Brewing in St. Paul

Black Stack has a large taproom, so it has plenty of space for us to gather. I'll bring a few of my favorite interior design books and a sketchpad in case anyone feels like drawing. We can discuss interior design projects and share ideas and resources. I'll plan to be there at 1 p.m., but you can come anytime between 1 and 3, or leave early if need be. My name is Pam, and I have bright red hair, which generally makes me pretty easy to spot. The idea is that it will be a pretty informal gathering. The group is capped at 10 (because it's a free Meetup membership), but more are welcome to join! Just send me a message.

In addition to beer and THC beverages, Black Stack has a large assortment of N/A beverages, including soda, juice boxes, craft root beer, and chocolate milk. You can bring snacks if you'd like, though they do sell snacks and often have a food truck on hand. Black Stack Brewing is in the same building as Can Can Wonderland, if you're familiar.
