Mothership RPG: Sci-Fi Horror
Details
New & Experienced Players Welcome
Ever seen Alien, Event Horizon, or The Thing and thought, “Yeah… I’d die there”?
Let’s find out how long you last.
I’m hosting a Mothership tabletop RPG session — a rules-light, high-tension science fiction horror game focused on panic, survival, and terrible decisions in deep space.
What is Mothership?
Mothership is a cinematic sci-fi horror RPG where characters are fragile, fear is deadly, and survival is never guaranteed. Think malfunctioning ships, strange signals, corporate secrets, body horror, and the slow realization that help is not coming.
What to Expect
• Heavy atmosphere, tension, and investigation
• Survival horror — combat is risky and often the wrong answer
• Characters provided (or roll your own quickly at the table)
• Rules taught as we play — no experience required
Tone & Themes
• Isolation
• Paranoia
• Cosmic & psychological horror
• Corporate negligence
• “Do we open the airlock or not?”
Who Should Join
• RPG players looking for something darker and more intense
• Fans of sci-fi horror movies and games
• New players who want a simple system with high stakes
• Anyone who enjoys roleplaying under pressure
Content will be horror-focused and may include disturbing themes. We’ll set boundaries and use safety tools so everyone can enjoy the experience.
Please don’t just show up unannounced. If you’re interested, comment or message me and let me know:
• In-person or online preference
• RPG experience level
• Favorite sci-fi horror (optional)
In space, no one can hear you scream — but your stress dice definitely can.
We’ll be playing either at the Forge or Bellows Bistro.
