Happy Hour and Beginner WASM Rust Hacking Session (#2!)

Join us for round 2 as we work through the Rust and WebAssembly book! We'll continue an intro in using Rust in Web apps!

Note: If you want to keep hacking through the embedded Rust Discovery Book (from past sessions), feel free! No need to do WASM to come hack with us!

The Rust and WASM book assumes some knowledge of Typescript - if you don't have that, don't worry! Most of the focus is on Rust, and there should be enough of us who know TS around to help you out.

A heads up: This book is not perfect. It has some issues that we may need to work through. But together we should have enough collective experience to work through it (or put up some issues/PRs on GitHub).

If you don't want to hack, come join and just hang out! We'll also have a zoom session going if you can't make it in person. Check the comments for the link.

Tips for success
Do these things at home/on a fast wifi connection:

• Update Rust via `rustup update` (just a reminder)
• Go through the setup section of the book and install all the tools you will need on fast wifi

The wifi there is fine once you have those installed.

As always, you don't need to be working on this exact project to come hang out and/or hack with us. Bring something you enjoy working on!
