What we’re about
Come join the longest-running Toastmasters club east of the Rocky Mountains!
While many Toastmasters clubs are sponsored by a workplace or corporation for their employees, Club 75 is a community-based club. We welcome members of all backgrounds, ages, and experience levels-- everybody has to start somewhere!
WHEN: Our club meets every Monday (excluding holidays) from 6:30pm to 7:45pm
WHERE: Minneapolis Central Library
300 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis, MN 55401
Room N-280, Doty Board Room (unless announced otherwise beforehand)
PARKING: Paid ramp parking is available underneath the Library for only $5 after 4pm.
Metered street parking and other paid parking ramps are also available nearby.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT: Several Metro Transit buses run directly by the library, and both the Blue Line and Green Line trains have stops just two blocks away.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Meeting are split into three sections...
- one to three prepared speeches (members only)
- an impromptu speaking section with short answers to interview-style questions; both members and guests are welcome to participate
- evaluations of the prepared speeches and meeting as a whole
Guests are welcome to participate or simply observe meetings based on their own comfort level. You may attend as a guest as many times as you'd like before deciding on membership.
