YugabyteDB Friday Tech Talk: Introduction to YugabyteDB

Welcome to the launch of YFTT: YugabyteDB Friday Tech Talks!

The aim of these tech talks is to share information and spark conversion about distributed SQL and YugabyteDB.

The YFTT will take place weekly and will allow the database community the chance to interact live with the engineers, developer advocates, and solutions architects behind YugabyteDB, along with guest presenters.
Topics will vary week-to-week, but will focus on use cases, product features, and best practices.

We want to create an environment where users can learn from each other's experiences and ask questions!

In our inaugural episode, Yugabyte co-founders Kannan Muthukkaruppan, Karthik Ranganathan, and Mikhail Bautin will give an introduction to YugabyteDB and touch on database and application evolution. They will also reveal what attendees can expect from the weekly YugabyteDB Friday Tech Talks series.
