BWCAW Interest?

Is there any interest in a BWCAW trip in 2025? If you are interested please RSVP or comment. Please note RSVPing doesn't get you a space it only lets me know who and how many are interested.

Dates, routes, campsites, etc to be determined by those going later.

The 4th weekend of August looks like a good time to go but I am open to suggestions.

It looks like there is enough interest to plan a BWCAW trip for 2025. I imagine that when the actual trip is scheduled there may be more interest. The trip will be limited to six right now but may be reduced to fewer based on talking with outfitters. I will have tiers for people to to RSVP for the trip. Members that camp with the group in 2024 will have 1st priority, members that have camped in prior years will have next priority and those that haven't camped with the group will have last priority. Most likely we will do an annual BWCAW trip going forward.
There are three areas that I am looking at. They are the Ely area, Sawbill Lake and the Gunflint Trail area. I will plan on talking with outfitters in Ely when I go on the Fenske Lake trip in July. I plan on going up the Gunflint Trail the day before the Dark Sky Weekend trip in September. I am thinking about going up to the north shore the first weekend of August to check out Sawbill Lake. The only catch for that weekend is it would be getting a first come first serve site.
