Temperance River State Park

Temperance River State Park is just south of Schroder on the north shore. The official start date to the camping trip is Friday. I will come up Thursday. You can join me if you wish for an extra day of fun. I have the start set for Friday because I don't want someone to see Thursday and think that coming on Thursday is a requirement. Even if you can't leave until after work Thursday I highly recommend it. You wake up Friday and you are already in the park!

A section of the Gitchi-Gami Trail (paved bike) goes through the park. There are 22 miles of hiking trails in the park. Sawbill Lake is about 30 miles away. There are canoe and kayak rentals available at Sawbill Lake. There is also a mountain bike trail about 10 miles from the park. Lots to do in and around the park.

The park does not have a group site. We will have to get our own drive-in sites or share.

Sites will be available to reserve in February.
