Gooseberry Falls State Park

The park has 20 miles of hiking trails, 15 miles of paved bike trails which connect to the Gitch-Gami State Trail. The trail heads north 17 miles to Silver Bay, going through Split Rock Lighthouse State Park. Gooseberry also has about 10 miles of hiking trails that you can mountain bike on. These are not mountain bike trails, just trails you can bike on.

The Superior Hiking Trail also goes through Gooseberry. You could also cool off in the Gooseberry River.

There are a lot of ways to have fun here. The cost will be $20 per person. This covers the campsite and firewood. You will have to have a vehicle permit and bring your own food and gear, etc.

If there is interest I can reserve Thursday also. There would not be any extra cost.
