Turn your Pennies into a Mobile Backend with Azure AD & Cosmos DB

This talk is geared towards mobile app developers that understand the value of a good mobile backend, but don’t want to, or don’t know how to build it all themselves. Thankfully, Azure Active Directory paired with Cosmos DB allows you to stand up secure, highly scaleable, cloud-hosted mobile backends that won’t break the bank.

We'll see how to get started setting up your very own Azure Active Directory B2C tenant, and how to use the Microsoft Authentication Library (MSAL) to securely authenticate users in a demo Xamarin.Forms app.

Next we’ll learn about the basics of Cosmos DB and show how to do read/write operations on public and private user data through a secure connection to our sample app.
