About us

Making friends as an adult is weirdly hard—so a few of us decided to do something about it.

Inspired by a Reddit post about men starting local book clubs as a way to build real friendships, we’re launching a casual, low-commitment book club that’s more about connection than literary perfection. We pick a book, meet up at a restaurant or public spot, eat some food, talk about the book a bit, and mostly just hang out and get to know each other.

This is not a stuffy book club. You don’t need a literature degree, deep insights, or even to finish the book. The goal is camaraderie, conversation, and building bonds with other guys in a relaxed setting.

Who it’s for:
• Men of all backgrounds, ages, and life stages
• Newcomers, introverts, extroverts—everyone’s welcome
• You don’t need to know anyone beforehand

First meetup:
• Book: Dungeon Crawler Carl (fun, accessible, and easy to talk about)
• When: Sunday, February 15 at 12:00 PM
• Where: Town Hall Brewery 1430 S Washington Ave Minneapolis MN 55454
• Group size: Currently 5 people and growing

If you’ve been looking for an excuse to get out of the house, meet some solid people, and maybe laugh a bit—this is it. Come check it out and see if it’s your vibe.

Feel free to RSVP or message if you have questions. Hope to see you there. 📚🍻
