MNA Online Book Club — Banned Books Week!

Join us online Sunday October 11th at 2 p.m. for a Banned Book Month book club.

This month we are doing something a little different for our MNA Online Book club meeting. In recognition of Banned Books Week October 4-10, we will each choose a banned book to read and share it with the rest of the group. There are too many excellent banned books to pick just one, so instead each person will share their thoughts on a book of their choosing. You can pick an old favorite you would love to re-read, or maybe something you’ve been meaning to read but haven’t had a chance to get to. This way we can learn about several wonderful books in one sitting and perhaps be inspired to read something you might not have otherwise considered.

There are many lists of banned books out there, so feel free to use any of them to discover a book you’d like to read and share. Fiction or non-fiction, it’s up to you. Here are a couple lists, but you can use any source that works for you.
