I have hiked this route a few times but have never found the "Candle Cave."

Pace: 2 to 2.5 miles per hour

Buddy system: Pair up with someone with roughly the same pace for safety. Some hikers may hike faster or slower.

Bring your hat, about 1.5 to 2 liters of water, poles and gloves if you use them, and sack lunch. Wear layers.

Dogs: Please leash up at snack/lunch breaks.

NB: 4x4 or AWD necessary if road is wet or muddy
