What we’re about

At The Folk Project Open Stage, acoustic musicians perform for welcoming and supportive audiences. Unlike most open mics, which are held in noisy bars and restaurants, The Open Stage performers play for a devoted listening audience in a unique setting featuring a state of the art sound system. Every performer receives via email a video of their performance.

The Open Stage is held on the 2nd Friday evening of each month at the  Morristown Unitarian Fellowship, 21 Normandy Heights Road, Morristown, NJ,. Occasionally the Open Stage is rescheduled, so check the Minstrel calendar each month to be sure.

Sign in begins at 6:00pm on the night of the show.  Curtain is at 7:30pm.

We sometimes hire Open Stage performers to become paid acts in the Troubadour Concert Series. For more information and instructions on how to secure an Open Stage performance slot, visit www.OpenStage.FolkProject.org
