In this master class/ workshop, you will learn about the different lighting techniques as used in the fashion industry, which will enable you to create dynamic, strong, fashion forward images for your portfolio. You will also have the opportunity to photograph a highly trained model to enhance your workshop experience!
You will gain knowledge in the specific lights used, learn two different lighting setups, as well as preferred equipment choices. Throughout the workshop, you will be taught different posing positions for your model, proper etiquette when working with a model, and the importance of coaching/communicating with the model, in order to get your desired vision, create a stress free photo session, and get the best images possible.
This small group environment allows an opportunity for all participants to shoot and practice directing the model.
Equipment you need to bring to the workshop:
You will need a camera with a portrait lens. No tripod needed.
The choice of your lens should be around 85 mm for full frame camera and for micro 4/3 it should be around 40 to 120 mm.
We will provide: Lighting equipment and a very experienced model.
This workshop is tailored for novices as well as people with more experience. The photo session is also open for people who would like to try something different when it comes to portraiture.
