Blue Hills hike

Details

Let’s get out and enjoy some fresh air before winter sets all the way in with a moderate level hike in Blue Hills. We’ll plan to go for the Eliot tower trail, which should take about 2.5 hours. We’ll keep a moderate walking pace. We will be leaving the visitor center at 10 past the start of the event. If you are late, please feel free to try and catch up with us.

All fitness levels are welcome, please just be mindful of any limitations you may have that could prevent you from walking up to 3 miles with elevations in a few hours.

Please make sure to bring snacks, water, and wear good hiking shoes. I am not Wilderness, trail, etc. certified, just someone who enjoys hiking, nor am I versed in human first aid. Everyone is responsible for their own personal safety and well-being on this hike.

We’ll plan to hike even if there is some light rain or drizzling or light snow but if there are any storms or subzero temps, we will reschedule for a different day.
