About us
MiSec Jackson is the Jackson chapter of the Michigan Information Security Community (#misec), a grassroots cybersecurity group founded out of BSides Detroit in 2011. We bring together security professionals, IT practitioners, students, and enthusiasts from Jackson and the surrounding area to talk, learn, share, and build real-world skills.
Our meetups feature technical talks, career discussions, and open conversations about cybersecurity and information technology. Whether you're just getting started or already working in the field, MiSec Jackson is a place to connect with peers and grow.

This is our monthly social event where we meet up for an evening of delicious food and socializing.
